According to Corsairs website it is 85,000 IOPS (4K aligned).

That is correct based on a 8GB LBA/s test but a 90% full drive (ie what you could end up with after some use + games etc) will be a little less.

Is that any good? (SSD noob)

Its up there with the best, edging out on the Agility 3 but (based on a used drive with OS etc) and a smidge behind the Vertex 3 with uses a different type of NAND.
:)

60GB is unknown as yet but I wouldn't rule it out.

As for controller..

All the same as Vertex 3 and Agility 3.

nand in these is the same as the Agility 3 (Asyncronous) where as Vertex 3 is Syncronous.

well i've seen enough to cancel my 120gb agility 3 pre-order to pre-order one of these drives at a good price incase they go up. i've managed to get one in the basket for £169.99 delivered, cheaper than agility 3 too.
