According to Corsairs website it is 85,000 IOPS (4K aligned).

That is correct based on a 8GB LBA/s test but a 90% full drive (ie what you could end up with after some use + games etc) will be a little less.

Is that any good? (SSD noob)

Its up there with the best, edging out on the Agility 3 but (based on a used drive with OS etc) and a smidge behind the Vertex 3 with uses a different type of NAND.

60GB is unknown as yet but I wouldn't rule it out.

As for controller..

All the same as Vertex 3 and Agility 3.

nand in these is the same as the Agility 3 (Asyncronous) where as Vertex 3 is Syncronous.
 
All i can find is that they will be available worldwide this month. As this month is almost over you would expect them to go on sale next week, although most of the other manufacturers new releases were delayed so don't get your hopes up.

Corsair and disti seem to think ll be next week for stock to you, the customer :)
