Corsair Force GT 60GB Problems

Hey guys i have a friend who has the Corsair Force GT 60GB S.S.D and he is having a few problems with it here they are:

1. say he had used 20GB then deleated the files that took up that 20GB the 20GB would still be missing

2. Say he copies over the 20GB Files to a Storage drive and then deletes the memory stays used on the deive even though the file was deleated

3. The S.S.D is used as the primary drive and when windows is installed it takes around 40GB of the 60GB Space and last time i checked winddows 7 Ultimate x64 only takes about 5GB If that.

any advice would be greatly appreciated

LMFAO yeah always check the bin he empties the recycle bin every time he deletes something and the GB is still missing the only was he has found that gives him some of the GB'S back is to use a hard disk clean up program and even then i say some not all

i have the same ssd,howmuch ram does he have? if 16gb it will use that much up in pagefile

you might need to wait for trim to restore the space,log off user account for a few hours then reboot pc
