i cant see how this is managing to keep a 4ghz i7 at those temps with that vcore

a custom watercooing loop with a thermochill single rad and two fans in push pull is higher than that

must be a really really good product

I know, tell me about it. I made a mistake at first setup was too high at 90C but I had to removed pre-thermal paste from corsair as I clean it up with a lighter fluid and use my own AS5 paste to spread it out on the H50 heatsink and also on the cpu processor with a very thin layer. I will try prime95 for 12 hours overnight and post back with temperature photo.

How much cooler is it over the best heatsinks, and is that thing noisy?

i read an article of it saying its pretty good and cheap aswell, 70 quid or something?

It not bad noise, I can hear a little but not as high like a dreadful titan fan is worse noise in my case. Yep I brought it for just £53 ! A very good bargain and it work very well.

bulldog, why 2 fans ? Also I read that Corsair recommends that the fan should be sucking air into the case instead of the normal exhausting it, are you doing that ?

I use 2 fans because the fan come with antec 1200 as if I removed it off, then the radiator won't fit by the case next to fan, so, I turn the fan round to push intake with h50 fan and it work pretty well. That's the reason I use two fans together.

Do you have those back fans set to low-medium or high? i feel high is noisy, low is decent and medium is only a little louder.

Those are great temps if the case fans are set to low or medium

The back fan is leave as LOW !!! Except the corsair fan is spin at 1600rpm (just a tiny noise but not much)

I bought one today and installed it with two fans also, i'm not getting those kinda temps, mine are 48c,44c,45c,42c idle and 78c,77c,74c,72c load with prime95 small fft.

my I7 920 D0 is overclocked to 4Ghz with 1.268vcore in a coolermaster cosmos case which is crap for cooling, thinking about changing it for a ATCS 840.......

The corsair is good though, far superior to the Titan Fenrir I had before that was touching 85c-86c under load.

I do apology for my mistake on these temperature because I forget to set TJMAX at 100 on coretemp as it was set at 85 before. The correct temperature is at idle are: 44, 45, 44, 45 and full load at 83, 81, 79, 79 on vcore 1.31v

I went back to Prolimatech Megahalems Performance CPU Cooler because the H50 couldn't do 4.2Ghz as temperature went over 90C.

As it good H50 for up to 3.80Ghz but not suitable for high overclock.
