Corsair HX 620W squeal sound when shutting down

Is this normal? Just as its powering down there is a squeal coming from psu. Turns on fine ect and stable with my overclock but just wondering if this is normal.

Sure it's not the graphics card? The 8800's were known to squeal a little when shutting down the machine.

Had the psu for a day, and it never happend until I got the corsair altho i mite b, ill take case side off and see where its coming from

I know this isn't particually relivent but I had a corsair HX520 W that would squeal all the time from new, RMA'd it and got a nice fresh one.

when did it squeal tho? just when shutting down or 24/7? mines running perfect atm

In my experience the squeal was coming from the 8800. The Corsair PSU shuts the power off more quickly than many other PSUs and the GPU wails at its lack of power before turning off. It's not really a problem.

Yeah I have the same problem with the 'squeal' I have the corsair 620w and an 8800gtx in my system. Sounds like it's probably the 8800 then..?
