Hi Guys,
Here is an update regarding those unresponsive keys and LEDs not being lit after a FW update.

We are aware that some owners of international K70 RGB and K95 RGB keyboards have experienced issues after updating Firmware (turned-off LEDs and unresponsive keys). This issue does NOT affect those with North America, Chinese, or Taiwan layouts (keyboards with 104 keys) but does unfortunately affect some of the EU layouts such as UK, DE, FR, etc (keyboards with 105 and 106 keys). Not all users were affected, but resolving this (and some other related issues) has been our utmost priority.

We have been working with our internal teams and some forum users to fix the problem. We are happy to announce that within a week we will have a new software and firmware update available. In this release the LED issue with international layouts will be resolved, as will be a number of other issues (some reported here and some discovered through internal testing), to improve the user experience.

Anyone that submitted a ticket about the firmware issue get a response yet? Still waiting here although i'm sure they must have had a lot of people with the same problems.

Post your ticket # and I'll have one of our tech specialist respond to your ticket.

Surprisingly, there are only 5-6 tickets in our system that were pertaining to the issue where the KB was flashed to the wrong model.

I had created a ticket (6531835) and the response received this morning was:

Hi Paul,

The best way to resolve this issue would be to wait for an updated firmware so that you can flash back to the U.K layout format.

It appears that not everyone in Corsair is aware that there is a fix for the issue available and affected people were asked to contact Corsair Tech Support to receive this.

I have looked at both tickets and both cases falls under the LED being unresponsive issue.

Let me clear this up a little bit to avoid more confusion. There are 2 issues that we are currently working on. These issues are unrelated and they are being addressed separately.

Hi All,
Quick update regarding those RBG KBs that were flashed incorrectly. If you have updated your KB's FW and was flashed to the wrong model/layout during CUE installation, please submit a ticket at Corsair.force.com. You will then be in contact with one of our Tech Specialist where they will provide you the fix for that particular issue.

Again, we'd like to apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you guys. We'll continue to work hard and make sure that we address these minor set-backs ASAP. Thank you for your patience.

1. This one is for those RGB KBs that were flashed to the wrong model after the FW update. For example, If you have an RGB K70 and you updated the FW after installing CUE and then in your UI it says K95. If this is your case, then you have to submit a ticket and we will provide you the fix to correct that error.

2. This is for those RGB KBs that have some unresponsive keys and LEDs not being lit after the FW update (i.e. \, #, <, >). Again, this is mainly for EU layouts such as UK, DE, FR, etc. A fix is currently in progress to address this issue. We are optimistic that we will be able to finalize everything within a week period.

I hope this clears up the confusion between those two cases. If you have any question, feel free to contact me anytime.

Thanks Greybeard for the update. I received an update from my ticket with Corsair support too.

In addition: Anyone have any idea why the volume roller-dial doesn't work while in some games? Mainly modded Skyrim. Its irritating risking a crash to alt-tab out to change the volume.

No problem at all :)

Regarding that volume dial not working in game, other than Skyrim, what other games do you think have that same issue?

First time I've seen this. I'll ask our validation and see if they can replicate that.

Have update the firmware to 1.13 and software to 1.1.56 and the “\” key now lights up. The save profile to hardware function has disappeared? My old profile is saved to hardware but the ”\” key is not set as it was created with the old software, anyone know how to save a profile to hardware with version 1.1.56?

I haven't had it happen in any other games I've played in the past week, I'll try out a few things in my steam library and test to see if there's any others.

this was posted on the corsair forums by one of the corsair guys so expect stock very soon

Hi all,

As some of you all know, Corsair Gaming RGB K65/K70/K95 with international keyboard layouts had an issue with the extra keys not lighting up when updated. This issue has now been resolved with Firmware 1.13 and Software 1.1.56 and will not be encountered by new and existing users.

With this resolution in place, we have started shipping EU layouts again to all of our channel partners and you should see inventory being replenished within a week. We thank you for your patience and understanding and hope you will enjoy your RGB keyboard.

I've had a pre-order for the RGB K70 Cherry MX Blue since the opportunity to do was provided by OCUK.

Wondering, is stock still expected tomorrow? 15.10.14?

If so, would my pre-order be available for collection tomorrow or would it be best waiting until Thursday as stock would need processing etc? Just working it out as I'd need the afternoon off for collection.

Any official comment is appreciated.
