My HX620 also blew up 6 months ago, royal mail wanted £36.

Shipped it using www.parcel2go.com, got it there tracked and quicker than royal mail promised for £16~

Also received a HX650 in return.

Bought a 850w modular one to tide me over whilst i waited about a week.

Damn, that's bad news, I have the same PSU!
5 year warranty is great, which is why I bought it, hope it lasts that long.

Personally bro, I'd take it to some electrical repairs shop or something and get them to look at it. £40 to ship the PSU when you only payed around £90 is a bit daft.

OR, I'd buy a new one. Have you had it long?
