Corsair Vengeance Blue!

I've got 8gb Corsair Vengance installed and currently running at 1333mhz.

The voltage is set to 1.5v and I'd like to get them to 1600mhz, but would like some clarity first.

1 - What would be the reason for it running at 1333?
2 - Would there really be a performance increase if pushed to 1600?
3 - How easy would it be to push & how would it be accomplished? (if the performance increase is worth it)

If that is the RAM that you bought exactly, you should be able to go into the BIOS and set the XMP (eXtreme Memory Profile) to Profile1 and have the speeds all set for you. The performance gains will be minimal but seeing as you have RAM that can do it and it is very simple to do, you might as well
