Oh lol
Your Son is 11? I thought 11 was a girl's name.
Acme's had a long week bless him.
Misunderstanding over the child being called 11, not being 11 years old. Lol
Joking aside, I am shocked (really) at how cheap all this stuff is these days (Relatively speaking).
No wonder society is so wasteful nowadays. We are almost at the point where it is cheaper to throw away and buy new rather than clean and re-use!
(I call this "Reachernomics" from the Lee Child's series of stories, Jack Reacher, of course, is a special case and his case made sense. But it is utterly insane for the rest of us to go that way, really it is! )
Back in the dark ages, my Grandmother knitted my School pulleys and when I outgrew them, she unravelled the old ones, added in an extra ball of wool and recycled it into the next size up!
I doubt if anybody does this anymore!
I knew that... But then I thought HK was pointing out that Merj missed the joke, but he actually meant it in sarcasm...
its cheap for a reason.
some parents can barely afford it.
Lol. Fwoosh?
£4 plimsolls for school shoes? My pen was worth more than that.
There's nothing like the feeling of sitting down for a lesson knowing you're wearing the best shoes in the whole school. I used to spend 15 minutes meticulously polishing my shoes every morning before leaving for school.

Man people on this forum can be dicks to the newbs.
Haha a friend whos a nurse in the filapines said they had they were inspected all the time so she used to spray her shoes white (dad owened a car repair shop) instead of cleaning them
That sounds a lot more difficult and inconvenient than just cleaning them?
