Could you spec me some headphones for movies and gaming?

Budget up to £500

Looking for really good comfort. I Have a astro mixamp pro and Asus STX sound card

What would you recommend?

AKG K712 will do a nice job at just over £300 and the STX will drive them just fine.

Another £100 will get you the Beyerdynamic T90, which some find better than the £500 Sennheiser HD700.

At this price level it's really necessary to find somewhere you can try them, otherwise you could be looking at an expensive mistake.

They are on par with the best. Soundstage is huge.
