Counter signee for a passport, can it be anyone with a valid passport??

Have you just considered ignoring the doctor's receptionist. We all know they can be a bit obstructive and self-important at times (most of the time). Your mum is 82, there's bound to be something she needs to talk to the doctor about, just make an appointment and on the way out say "oh btw would you mind signing this photo of me"?

its not that simple because they need to fill in part of the application and include there passport number :P

Going to have to be the doc or blag it a bit with the brother in law I suppose. He has a different Sir name obviously.

Totally mad, she's born and breed in the UK, never had the slightest brush with the law....

Might just take her to Dover and say she's come from "such and such war torn country" and "lost" her passport... she'll probably get a passport for free that way too. lol ;)

what about dentist ?

i would try the doctors again tbh , especially if its like mine where the receptionist thinks shes a doctor. maybe explain that is literally your only option.

If they’re a reputable employed person then they can sign the thing. Your application will not be rejected, that list is just a recommendation.
