sand sculpture

Canary wharf

Hi, this is only my 2nd posting on this forum, have now a lot more time to spend with 350D + kit lens. Above are 2 of my better images i captured over the w/e, any advice & c & c is most welcome :(

The Canary Warf shot is nice. The sky is a bit blown out and could do with a reduction of the highlights.
 
Wow, those sand sculptures look like intricate work! Nice capture.

I know the location where you took the Canary Wharf shots well - it's not far from where I live!
 
the sand sculptures are on Gt Yarmouth beach and are worth the £6 entry fee, there are about 60(est) seperate works to look at. I'll be posting a few more soon. as for canary wharf, i climbed over the small wire fence to get to a concrete jetty but then noticed the slipway to the right on the way out which made life a little easier :o

lol :) , I made the same mistake as I rushed last Monday night to capture this shot (probably taken about 25m to the left of where you took yours). I too climbed over the wire fence only to see the open gate the the slipway on my way out :o

I like that canary wharf piccie more but the sand one is good also..

can i be cheeky enough to ask for a copy of the canary wharf pic?

not for anything specific I would just like to add it to my collection?
