I really would like to buy a macbook but have a few questions first if i may.

-Is the 13" screen ok to use? I would be using it for general internet use but would use it for web design and photo editing too from time to time.

-I have a spare laptop (2.2Ghz C2D, 2GB RAM, 400GB HDD) and im thinking of selling this to fund some of the macbook.

-The 3 models are £699, £829 and £949. What would these models cost using HE discount?

-When using HE discount, do you get 3 years warranty? Or do you HAVE to take out applecare to get the extended warranty?

Thanks peoples, i think i could get £500 for my Toshiba laptop which i dont use, and would love to put a few pennies towards the Macbook.

Right, time to sell my beast of a Toshiba. Funny you should mention 17", my Toshiba is 17" and 2.2 GHz C2D and 400GB HDD. Its massive and the best thing is i only use it for iTunes and nothing else!

So i'll sell that and purchase a macbook. Cant wait, i get the feeling that OSX is the way forward since getting an iPhone and loving the way it works.

P.s. it seems you dont get the remote with it ? I like the look of that remote but wondered wether you peoples find it usefull even though it doesnt have many buttons ? I would use it for frontrow video and audio playback.

Sorry to ask more questions but i would like to know the HE prices of the iMac's too please. These seem like lovely machines, with a bigger screen (would be looking at 20" basic model). Also do you know if i can upgrade the memory myself? If so is it laptop or desktop memory?

I think i can get away with no portability (i have a XP laptop if i really need it).

P.s. I sold my spare laptop so ive already got £500 waiting for me to make my mind up.
