First one is very cool - the second doesn't really do a lot for me, though.

Thanks for the comments. Re: the bokeh, the shot was taken with my EF 50mm 1.8 - sometimes the bokeh is nice, other times, not so much. Depends on the kind of light I guess - if there are bright highlights, eg streetlights at night, and they are blurred, you can very clearly make out the 5 blades of the diaphragm
