cpu cooler advice

hello guys, im looking to buy a cpu cooler specifically for an AM4 board so its needs to be compatible out of the box.

i was looking at this cooler https://www.overclockers.co.uk/be-quiet-dark-rock-advanced-cpu-cooler-hs-001-bq.html however the site is unclear whether the be quiet AM4 adapters work with this cooler or not.

has anyone had any experiance in the past with combining the 2???

I noticed at the bottom of the page for the cooler it states
**For an AM4 bracket please go to the manufacturer support page and email them proof of purchase of the cooler and proof of purchase for the Ryzen CPU. We will try our best to get some brackets but you should contact the manufacturer first. **

yes however OCUK have this in stock

however it does not state what models its for or if it fits all be quiet coolers

Which CPU are you buying as the AMD cooler on my 1700 works well at 3.7Ghz overclock, in my experience it is in the low 50's C playing BF1.

its the ryzen 1600. u reckon im better using the stock cooler then??

Had a quick search and i think that Bracket supports the above coolers only.

Yes I am using the stock AMD cooler. I would suggest giving it a go first as it may save you some money unless you plan to go a high overclock straight away. They are far better than the stock intel coolers.
