I have just upgraded my system and got a 3060Ti, a Ryzen 5600x, B550 Tomahawk motherboard with 16gb 3600mhz Crucial Ballistix ram.
My GPU came before everything else arrived so I put it in my old PC with an I5 3570k (not OC'ed as my old mobo broke and I had to put this spare in which didn't support it), a As Rock H77 pro4 motherboard and 16gb 1600mhz ram.
I ran some tests with 3D mark and my FPS and score almost doubled with the new GPU in.
So the new parts came and I have installed them all, enabled XMP for the RAM and did the benchmarks again and get the same FPS and a lower overall score lol.
Is this normal as the GPU is the limiting factor or should I see an increase with a better CPU and memory?
