Hey Dudes

Random I know, but I am sure that my PC keeps crashing due to sound errors, but related to my GTX470. The bluescreen code is BCC124, and it seems to be about sound problems but a common question is about audio related to the actual graphics card. When I search the code on google, I get lots of sites saying it could be an audio driver incompatiblity, some say its NVidia driver issues, other say its temp issues on GPU...I cant find an answer.

What is common though is that all users have Nvidia products.

I really dont know what else to say. I thought it could be CPU issues, but temps are fine and just finished a 7hr prime95 test which was also fine. The CPU takes anything I fire at it. It has crashes when using youtube (which at first I thought was the issue) and PvZ game. I have updated drivers on my GFX and reinstalled flash but this hasnt helped.

As you can see, I am at a lost and this thread is probably going offtrack now...so yea, any ideas?

Thanks

Update or roll back the audio drivers perhaps?

Well, and I know this isnt going to sound good, but I have never had an issue with the normal sound drivers that Windows 7 downloads itself. I never thought that upgrading my GFX would give a sound issue lol!

It's possible, and has happened in the past. Find the latest sound drivers and try it- ultimately, it won't make things worse.
