there were reports of issues with the asus 7950 on release:

I read on another site it said that asus then released version 2 of these cards where the issue is fixed. Is this a version 2 card?

Im not liking this news can you confirm if we will recieve the version 1 or 2 card Gibbo ??

hd7xxx series seems to have few more problems with the drivers,so I'd rather bought nvidia card.

Just run CCC 12.3 solves all the problems with the 7xxx, most of the problems are from Oc the card and drivers above 12.3 not being very good for some people.
Nothing major still a great card at the price
Nvidia are good cards but way to over priced imo, but each to there own.

sometimes u can use previous ati drivers, and issues get resolved, give them usualy a month to 6 weeks and issues are solved lol

got my card in now Thanks for the bargain offer OCUK its a great over clocker too

As i suspected thoughthe heat sink mounting mech is shocking you can wobble it about easily compared to other brands, the temperatures are still fine though so never mind =D the other thing with this card is its HUGE and the weight of it shows as the card loves to sag at the end i would recommend getting a support for it.
