Only if you're a hard core bench marker, real world, unless you have bionic eyes, you couldn't tell the difference. You would, - as a gamer, loading times - notice the difference between a mechanical HD and one of these SSDs.

I could tell the difference between a single Samsung F3 and Raid 0 F3s, but not between the Raid 0 and a Crucial C300.

If someone doesnt want to run raid, then they will notice an improvement with one of these SSDs as a gaming drive, but if you are willing to Raid 0 a couple of cheapo sammy F3s, then you dont need an SSD for games.

The 60 Gb one as a boot drive cant be recommended enough though. You will be able tell the difference with using an SSD as a boot disk over a mechanical HDD.

They could potentially use different NAND.

The vertex drives all used the same stuff, where as the agility just had whatever Nand OCZ could get their hands on cheaply (this is what I understood anyway).

So, they may be identical..
