Anyone remember this stuff?

ISTR years ago living at home my mother making this up for dessert now and again. A bit stodgy but perfect ballast for cold northern winter days.

Apparently no longer available to buy proprietary but a recipe has been cobbled together to make something akin to it:

Completely different stuff. Never came across Creamola, but Creamola foam was a staple growing back in the 80s.

Creamola used to make custard and ground rice pudding. The ground rice pudding was (from what I remember) sort of a cross between semolina and custard.
