They're still selling the HS-800! It's a great headset for the price, nice work. It has flexibility in the flexible and detachable mic, as well as a really generous cable length and an in-line volume/mic control. The sound range is good because of the large drivers, plenty of bass there for games, and best of all, it's really comfortable to wear for hours on end. However, if you want it for music/movies only I wouldn't bother as it's sound reproduction across the range is not that faithful, and mids are quite muted and dull. For music you're better of with audiophile headphones, and if you need a mic, a clip on version (such as the Speedlink one OcUK sell).

As an all round gaming headset, you really can't go wrong. I still have mine from 2007 and it's great, but it doesn't get much use now I have Goldring NS1000s as they absolutely blow it away in quality and I don't game with a mic often at all. Will do more soon though. If you've got £30 for a headset I think that should be in your top two or three, even though it's so old. It's the MX518 of the gaming headset market.

Indeed alex, for under £30 this headset is a steal! I did have a pair and they really did me well. Bought mine at a bit more of an expensive price though :P
