Creative launching new sound cards in December - SoundBlaster Z-Series

Reckon these will be better than my xfi fatality gamer pro? I've not bothered in an upgrade because there ihas been little point, I'll admit the xoner stx was VERY tempting though. I can't help feel the same about this new line up.

If you are referring to the ZxR, then I'd be very surprised if it isn't. Many of the X-Fi range were essentially the same card in different guises. Some reviews have rated the Z as marginally better than the X-Fi Xtreme Music. The ZxR has superior components compared to the Z/Zx, so if it isn't a noticeable improvement, I'd really like to know what the heck Creative have been playing at.

Based off what has been said, I would probably go for the ZxR. I mean if I'm going to spend that much on a component I'd rather get the best one. It's a shame that it isn't out yet though.
