Anyone know if these are any good, I can’t seem to find much in the way of reviews online? I’m planning to replace a set of 2.1 creative speakers that are about 6 years old, they’ve served me well but the leads are knackered and I sometimes have to wiggle them to get sound, plus the cream colour doesn’t really match the rest of my kit these days. :)

So I wondered about these creative speakers, the suggestion seems to be that they give decent bass without a sub, but I’m wondering how true this is? I’d be quite up for this if it is as I’d be quite happy to save the space. Alternatively I might go with the Acoustic Energy 2.1 as they seem a rather a popular choice on here.

Anyone with any knowledge of the T40’s or any other advice, will be used pretty much totally for gaming.

It's becuase they are new, not many reviews about.

The Aego M's would without a doubt be your best choice, but it's 2.1, if you don't mind that go for them. Other then that, the T40's and Z10's are your options for 2.0.

Thanks, its not that I’m totally against 2.1, just figured if I can still get decent base with 2.0 then it might be worth going for it. But having said that the sub on the Aero M’s doesn’t look to big.

Go for the Aego M's you wont regret it - i just got myself a set to replace a set of creative 5.1s and they sound loads better.

And yes the sub is small and so are the speakers but the sound is big.

Have a set sitting here, love em. Impressive music playback, plenty of bass (Your be suprised, know i was) and sound great when gaming. Owned T20's before these, T40's sound miles better both in oomph factor and sound seperation. If your short on space or dont want sub under the desk then these are the ones to purchase.

Edit: Btw Creative used a suttle power LED this time round, unlike T20's power LED which emits light source on par with bright laser pointer pens.
