Credit Cards

Hsbc - 2,500
This makes me laugh, and is one of the reasons I hate poxy HSBC.

When I had a credit card forced down my throat (I accepted on the basis of protection available when purchasing over the net) I was offered a credit limit of £3,000. I thought "Na, £1k will be plenty". Then after getting home I realised that £1,000 isn't actually that much for a single purchase. A big telly or a new PC will be over that, and that's where I'd most want protection! Fine I thought, I'll give them a ring and apply for the £3k they first offered. I rung up and spoke to the nice lady who requested it be raised.... DENIED, with a nice black mark on the credit rating

I've had my HSBC account since I was 12, have an array of services including Bank Account plus, always pay on time for everything and they STILL won't give me the credit limit they originally offered!

I had a virgin one that has gone now - Now have a sky card - earn points that I can use to pay off my sky bill/buy some ppv's etc.. :D 0% APR until September.

I have, but more importantly is who's got the lowest APR?;)

Have two cards I don't use at 7.9%

That's pretty low :)

Edit: Credit cards are evil! So I don't use them :p

Natwest £1600 IIRC
MBNA £3800

Between them I've got about £200 to pay off. I paid for my car insurance on the MBNA card when it was 0% on purchases and have been paying it off over a year. Both will be clear in April. I'm considering binning the Natwest, or asking the MBNA limit to be reduced cause apparently having un-used credit available is not good for your credit score.

Got a Nationwide Credit Card with a £4000 limit. When I first got it it had a £1000 limit, then after I used it to buy some stuff and cleared it they put the limit up to 2k, then it went upto 2.5k Then it went to 3k without me even using it and then lol I put my car on it last year and they added another 1k to my limit.

I have several including my barclaycard wiht a 5.5K limit. I use it all the time, not fussed about interest rate as i pay it off every month :)

Egg - £12000
Barclaycard Platinum - £10000
Virgin - £8000
HSBC - Not sure yet, only just had this one accepted (i'm whats called a credit card tart! Bouncing money around 0% APR cards, this one's good until April 2008!)
Mint - £8000

Got about £1100 on all the cards put together, been working hard to get them cleared off as they were up to about £8k at one point.

Who's got one and who are they with?
Maybe one day you'll receive your AMEX 'Black' card, if you do get invited, turn them down!

I have several, I tend to use my EGG card as they don't phone me or annoy me. I pay my bills in full every month.
