Critique my car advert

Advert and pictures look fine to me.

Only thing I can think of is, that the market for this sort of car is smaller so it's likely to attract less interest/take longer to sell or:

It's possibly priced too high, given that buying privately vs a dealer there will be no real comeback if it suddenly develops a fault (which on a premium car such as this could potentially be expensive). Personally I wouldn't be comfortable spending that much, when for a little more I can have dealer warranty/consumer rights protection.

This echos my sentiments really. It's undoubtedly a lot of car for the money!

Might be worth seeing what a dealer would be looking at to take it on a sale or return basis. I've not got much experience of that sort of thing but imagine a car like this would sell much easier through a dealer vs privately - both from a warranty perspective but also finance options etc.

I'd have thought PH and Ebay would be better place to advertise a more special car and of course the relevant Audi forums.
I always found Autotrader useless when selling nicer cars, all I got was sales callers and test pilots ringing.

Pretty much PH or a forum has sold all my cars if I have not traded in.

Though best surprise was my 911 sold via M3cutters forum, as it has quite an active car sales section for all marques.

Yeah might be a bit high, I'll try dropping the price if I still don't get much interest.

How about adding some overhead photos from a variety of angles?

Good point, will add some more photos.

The same advert is on Ebay, but will try PH as well - cheers.

What will Audi give you for it out of interest?

Not tried them, WBAC have quote just over £16k.

How long you have had the car (given 4 owners) and specifics of recent service items eg tyres/brakes.

glanced at a couple of others
is price maybe high vs https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201807308937652 2 owner 40K miles £23K

Not very long, only since April (one of the owners was the motor trade, so 3 actual users of the car incl. me). Reason for selling is that I'm moving abroad for work, which wasn't on the cards when I bought the car. I'm putting it in for a full service on the 5th September as it's due in 2 months and I know it's something that could put buyers off.

Thanks for all the advice and comments guys, is much appreciated!

Not saying it definitely is - but as someone with very little mechanical knowledge etc if I was looking at this sort of car, then I would want the peace of mind a dealer should be able to offer.

However as @Gibbo mentioned, members from owners forums etc will know exactly what they are getting into, know all the common faults etc and are probably "happier" buying a car privately than someone like myself.

Are you typical of the average 7 year old RS5 buyer though? It's likely to attract enthusiasts rather than people who just want a turn key experience.

I had read the add as ambiguoulsy, 4 previous owners - but I'm not that familliar with nomenclature ...other add I linked used the word previous.
as you say you as 3rd owner would read better. (under gdpr aren't they anonymising log book owners soon)

Depending on cost, could hold off on service, if it turns out to be an enthusiast, who wants to split the cost as a bargaining chip;
but a service will be them casting their eye over everything.

I'd be half tempted just to see what audi would give you, won't cost anything to find out :) least then if it's abit less you know how much of hit you may have to take when comparing all options.

If I had the money I'd buy it but I don't!
