Crossfire / SLI

If a mobo is SLI compatible, does that also mean that it is Crossfire compatible.

From what I know the Crossfire work is done on the master card not the mobo, so will the SLI mobo (with dual pcie slots) work for crossfire too in that case?

All boards at present are ether SLI or Crossfire compatible, not both, major bummer!!
There are hacked drivers that will run SLI on current 975x Crossfire boards, but they are hacked and not garrenteed to work!!!

What do you want the most? If its mobo, then taylor gfx to suit. If its gfx, taylor mobo to suit!!!
