wouldnt it be awesome if ocuk tried to offer price matching on most things where possible. massive respect on the price match here. i am not even in the market for another ssd but but really after an excellent gesture like this is really making me want to hit the buy button here

AMD tried to keep the 7970 prices high and used brand value as an excuse, we both know what happened there, they dropped their prices.

Based on current rates of dropping (average over range) this will happen in app 19months...

Following that philosophy, you're probably considering upgrading your recent floppy disk drive to the latest newfangled CD reader...
Srsly, if you're on a tight budget, why not get a 128gb SSD for £70-£80? Easily big enough for OS + apps + a few games. I recently bought a 256gb Samsung 830 for under £140 (it's since gone back up to ~£160) which is bigger than I needed, but means I don't have to worry about speed/TRIM degradation as the disk fills up, and allows for greater over-provisioning (and more games). If I'd known the M4 was going to reach ~£150 I'd have waited, but I couldn't resist a bargain like that (the Samsung is slightly faster, but the M4 has a name for reliability... time will tell).
If 256gb drives hit £120 in 6 months time, I won't consider I've wasted £20 - as I'll have had 6 months of a fast booting, quick loading and responsive PC. Eventually they will drop below £100, but by then we'll be using Sata4 SSDs as boot drives, and Sata2/3 for storage/backups.
