Ballistix 2x1gb PC2 6400 C4 crap overclocks
Just bought the above kit because of the rave reviews and assumed it uses the famous micron D9 chips. I bought it to replace my corsair xms2 which clocks to 970 at c5 as I wanted 1000+.
Well after playing about with these for ages they won't go above 900 at cas5 and 880 at c4. Tried voltages from 2.2 to 2.5 but no difference loosened timings to 5 5 5 15 as well
. Anybody else had clocks this bad with these? Ran memtest at 800 with no errors so ram is ok.
