Anyone else got any experience of overclocking the ballistix tracer 1866mhz kit?
Not been into ram overclocking since Socket A days but found a review showing these sticks have the Micron D9PFJ chips in them which respond well to overclocking and voltage.
Didnt know this before buing them so bit of a bonus
Stock for my kit is 1866MHz 9-9-9-27 2T @1.5v
Currently got these stable at 2133Mhz 8-8-8-24 1T @1.64v
Cant go any faster on this board but might be able to tighten timings further with a bit of extra voltage.
Not run any benchies yet but dont expect to see very much increase but hey its the principle of it
