Well I bought some DDR667 Ballistix a couple of months ago, when I thought it was cheap, but it's now half that price.... and only now have I fitted to a new box.

4 x 1GB, set at 3-3-3-12 at DDR667. I initially set 2.2v, but thought OK, does it actually need that ? Tried 2.1 with success, then 2.0v but didn't try any lower. It ran memtest 1.70 for a few hours (10+ passes) at 2.0v and perfect ! Been priming for 2 hrs so far also, all 4 cores, no problems. I was surprised, but there you go.

I know there is a lifetime guarantee, so it doesn't matter, but it should be running cooler and more reliably long term :)

2.2v is the upper limit. If you are only running 667mhz I wouldn't be surprised if it actually runs fine on 1.9v.

Mine run 5-4-4-12 @ 1000mhz with 2.2v.

OK thanks - I may give that a try :-)

It booted quite happily at 1.8, but of course that would have been at relaxed SPD timings
