Hi all,

I have been trying to get my head around the differences between these modules, but struggling somewhat, and I was just wondering if someone could give me an idea of which is better in terms of performance against cost?

Hope you can help,

Neil

They're all pretty much the same. The heatspreaders are about the only difference.

Crucial's owner (Micron) makes the chips that all three use.

So price and warranty service are probably the only factors to consider when choosing. And although the OCZ is £12 cheaper than the Crucial atm, Crucial have the best warranty service in the business (Scottish and usually returned in less than a week!) and the extra 12 quid is worth it.

Memory prices are on the up again. Although they do tend to fluctuate quite a lot, now would be a good time to buy if you have the money.
