Some footage of CryEngine 3 running on an 5870 Ati card and with a 3 monitor setup.

Looks fantastic I think. Bring on Crysis 2! The first one was a masterpiece.

Impressive but with one monitor & 2x4890 id want solid frame rate. What makes the 5870 impressive?

The footage was pretty decent ... wanted to hear what they saying than some music playing the background.

It's nice to see some dedicated PC footage though, and the performance looks promising..(but then who else remembers cryengine 2's Crysis alpha footage?

really? it was a stunningly beautiful game no doubt but the game play was horrid.

Outdoors looked pretty good, especially the lighting and the tree trunks. Indoors didn't look anything different to what we already get. And the player models arm looked exactly like the original Crysis. Also, with Crysis, I'd say it was a great technical benchmark, but as far as story and gameplay goes it was hardly a masterpiece as said in the OP.

I personally thought there was nothing there that the cryengine 2 couldn't have done, albeit with a little tweaking. Nowhere near the difference between Farcry and Crysis.
