Does anyone know where this is available to download at a reasonable speed? I've found a couple of links but they're incredibly slow and all the links on his official blog are dead or slow, as in 50KBs slow.

Seems great, i thought the original C2 graphics were jaw dropping, hard to believe there much better.

Very straightforward, just unpack the first .jar file when you download it, and it automatically does the rest.

You have to go into Mods on the main menu and turn on the mod each time you play though, at least I seem to have to. I love the visual narrative of New York gradually sliding into the crapper, it's a great evolving backdrop for a game.

Is it best to start game from start again, or can i keep my 2 hour progress i have now, i mean will i beable to enable the mod and carry on from where i am, cheers

I think a new game is recommended. Perhaps see what others say first. Even if you have to start again, two hours will soon fly by and you will also experience it quite differently due to the increased quality.
