Wasn't aware crysis had a "rock launcher". Is it some type of caveman you can summon to toss boulders?

If you mean the TAC, which I assume you do, you don't need it till the end.

if you mean the missile launcher, there isnt a lock on afaik. its laser guided, just keep the red dot on your target.

i seen a trailer were sumone locked on and fired in the air and it came down to target... musta bin sumit they removed............ or he H4xs =P

The missile launcher is laser guided, so you fire in the air and aim your dot at your target, some distance away. I think that is what it meant.

yes if you fire in the air then aim at your target it will hit it from above, used to good advantage in the village with the school, (2nd level)
