Crysis wont connect online

Crysis won't connect online at all, just says You have been disconnected from the server.

Anyone have any clues as to why and how i can fix?

I have tried reinstalling, opening the ports, the cdkey code thing.

It is a legit copy, ordered it online from a well known game (r)etailer.

Any help would be awesome, or even if someone could acknowledge they have the same problem it may be possible to gain insight onto whats causing it
 
Have you enabled that punkbuster option in the game settings? Mine kept saying that and then I went routing around in settings and saw that option was off, so I enabled it and connected first server I went to!

Lol whatever your anger issues don't take them out on people asking an innocent and valid question. This is a support forum for many things, including personal issues quite often! Support for a PC game is therefore hardly the most inappropriate use for this forum given that it's for overclockers.
 
Thanks people, ill have a fiddle with it now, Problem is though that i cant even login to the master server as such, Dieing to play this game online.

so that message is at the server browser.. ah, now i don't have time to look right now as i have to dash but google gamespy ports.
 
there is a list of ports in the back of the manual, but it's unlikely to help unless you have quite a strict router or firewall

I already tried that, but thanks for the suggestion.

Oddly enough, the game is actually working now even though i changed nothing... Im guessing it COULD have been down to installing new updates for firewall ( i had completly disabled it trying to play already, but updating then disabling seemed to fix it ).

Click on a server that has a "ping" value, because i had the same issue to find the ones that were timing out were the ones that had "N/A" as the ping. So telling me the server is probably down.

mines also PEGI. i found the manual is also on the dvd, this one though has 18 pages *Link removed* (found in Docs\ENU\).

i wonder what's been removed :confused:

'My Computer' - 'Explore' Crysis dvd - 'Tools' - 'Crysis_Code'! That will bring up the registration key window then will close once you input the code! Then it should work... it did for me anyway :)
