CS:S problem - Cant connect to any server.

Afternoon,

Just redownloaded CS:S, but ive had a problem which ive never had before. Il load up the game and click on find servers and it will find all the servers no problem, however when I try to connect to a server, it seems my connection just times out for about 2 minutes. In this time I cant access websites or anything, it seems trying to connect to a CS:S server kills the whole connection. Ive never had this problem before and im absolutely baffled as to what it is, other games work fine online and ive got the correct ports open etc.

Any ideas?

I have the same problem with CS and it's down to my modem/router, apparently when you're searching for servers some routers just crash when you reach a certain number of servers found, mine crashes at around 900-1000.

Next time you search for servers try clicking "stop refresh" after you've found a few hundred, and that might solve your problem. Alternatively, just get a better modem/router!

Thing is ive had it all working perfectly before with this same setup so I know theres nothing wrong with any equipment. Its probably just something small im not remembering but I cant think.
