Curious things people do at work.

I can't speak for all hostels, but certainly the hostel I used to live in a few years back, the rule was that you only went to the hatch once, and you were allowed a max of 2 drinks, so inevitably you took.. 2 drinks..

Wow you guys really waste cups. We're massively into conservation at my work; so much so that it's not unusual to see two girls share one cup.

Plastic cups are usually recycled

How can I be wasting cups anyway, i use mugs for my water as plastic cups are usually too small, and 9 times out of 10 there is none by the cooler.

Why is this thread centralised on water and cups anyway?

I thought it was called curious things people do at work, surely there is more going on then people using too many cups, and spending too long at the cooler, like people fapping off in the gents or the boss having it off with the cleaner.

I see people do the 2 cups thing all the time.
What I want to know is why people in my office - when making a cup of tea/coffee with milk - put the milk bottle back in the fridge when there's a little milk left in the bottom of the bottle. The next person to make drinks doesn't use the bottle with a little bit in and goes straight to a new bottle. At the end of the day there are 5 bottles of milk in the fridge with a little bit of milk left in each.

Whats up with that?

People do this with butter too. We used to have a fridge with various stuff for the night shift. Now that's annoying too :(
