I thought that wasn't great for cooling since you have to remove some hard drive bays to get air through since they block them.

I thought that wasn't great for cooling since you have to remove some hard drive bays to get air through since they block them.
it's similar to the corsair 600t the top section can be removed, but the ft01 has a huge flaw with the top fan filter not being accessible so you either live with that or run a different fan as top exhaust.
I say different fan as the silverstone ones aren't designed to run that way as i found out as mine was run as exhaust and it broke off the bearing under it's own weight.

If its any help at i have a Antec 1200 and a Silverstone Fortress FT02B and i prefer the FT02B, its much quiter and cooling is on par with the antec1200
