Hey, just a quicky..

I havent got a cv wrote out.. so how would i put a cv together in email. Im applying for a job and it have to email the guy with details (cv).

This is just my ongoing struggle to find a part time over the summer...

Surely i cant put it like this:

Name: John Smith

Address: 10 Smith Road..etc

Mine is in the following format:

1) Name/Address/Contact number as a centered headrer with some character spacing.

2) Profile - Small bit about me, e.g. Reliable, Keen to learn. All the cheesy bits.

3) Education background - Start with most recent first and include place of study, course studied with modules and expected/gained grades.

4) Work experience - Same as education with the most recent at the top. Includes information on what I done, what I learn't and how I met targets and what was expected of me.

5) Small section on my IT based skills, e.g. Knowledge of office packages, computer hardware and other software

6) Additional information such as stating I have a clean driving license.

7) Interests - For example, hobbies, sports information on travelling that I have done in the past.

8) References. I have included two, one from a previous employer and the other from a teacher.

So you've just finished Uni? And you have no CV? And you think knocking one up for an email is the way forward? Jeez, sort it out buddy.

you cant just walk into a job, spend a few days knocking up a good cv, if you just want anyjob, supermarkets or an agency doing warehouse work should get you going within days.

yellow pages is your friend, go buy some steel toecap boots and with an agency you should have warehouse work by friday, after an interview lasting about 3mins with an agency.

which basicly goes,

what work do you want? warehgouse
do you mind working in cold stores ect? nope
have you got steeltoe caps? yes
are you fit? yes
what shifts can you work? any nights, weekends, days whatever

Tips are nice, abuse isnt.. :)
Who's giving abuse? I'm trying to give you a kick up the backside, for your own good. Trying to find a job without a well-planned and thorough CV is like.. well i dont know what it's like, but it's daft!

Spend a day working on your CV, spend the next day going around all your local temping agencies and you'll have some work by the end of the week.
