CV reviews, advice and direction

Thought i'd make use of this thread rather than start a new one. :)

I have an interview coming up for a job that I really want. I've already passed phone interviews and online assessments, but this is where it counts I suppose.

Firstly I have to read and discuss a case study in the interview - presumably to show logical reasoning and the ability to think on my feet.

Secondly I have to do a 10min presentation.

My questions are, does anybody have any experience or advice re the whole case study interview, and secondly - what software for a presentation? Powerpoint or something like Prezi?

Thanks.

I have a certificate from a college in Edinburgh, however the certificate is given by Cambridge University (and our work was sent to them to ensure it was all fine). Now, my question is should I put the name of the college or Cambridge University on my CV? At the moment I have this:
Code:
• Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults.
o	University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations, July 2012.

The CELTA is the most respected English Language Teaching qualification, so yes, you should probably stress that you have bothered to get that 'level' of language qualification. I wouldn't stress that it's from the University of Cambridge though... people with relevant knowledge of that field probably already know what the acronyms stand for. It's not really so much a Cambridge Uni qualification as a course with the Cambridge brand attached.

In terms of the case study it'll depend on precisely what they want but I'd probably expect to be prioritising the issues, possibly allocating resources to deal with them and discussing why you've chosen the order you have and the relative merits or otherwise of the various issues/proposals. You'll more than likely have a number of stakeholders and need to think about how you'd deal with each of them - if you already know them you could consider models such as Mendelow's Matrix I suppose but that's likely to be a layer of complexity that isn't necessary, especially if it's not something that you're versed in already.

Have you been told that you need to prepare a computer based presentation? If not it's perfectly possible that you'll be expected to give an oral presentation only - I recently had a job interview where I had to do that, half an hour to familiarise myself with the question and prepare any notes I wanted but essentially it was just to test my logic skills and to ensure that I considered a range of options with the problems and solutions to them as far as I could. I was quite specifically told that there was no need to have any visual aids so it just came down to me talking about a question that I'd no advance warning of and hoping that I got enough of the points they'd be looking for in a vaguely logical way.
