Updated system specs for each setting and popular res:

So I am certain now that with 3440x1440 my CPU which is a 6700K @ 4.4
GHz and 2070S OC will be more than fine at Ultra settings with DLSS 2.0 turned on.
Just like that, my 3080 is justified.

Happy with that, I game at 1080p so should be able to get it looking pretty decent on my system.

Should add that I also game at 2560x1080 in some games where a solid 60fps is not possible at max settings for one reason or other. GTA V being one of those games. My monitor's upscaler is really good and there's no blurryness at all playing at a lower res and letting the monitor scale to fill all 34" so if worst comes to worst, I can still game at Ultra RTX 1080p and still enjoy the visuals

Yep, my i5 2500k and HD 7970 will handle RTX 4k no problem.

:p

In all seriousness though, I was gonna get a nextgen console but I've decided to wait for a year or so. If I can scrape by with a mix of med/low at 1080p (non rtx of course) I'll be very happy. This system keeps surprising me, throw in my SSD and I've had no issues with 1080p.

6700k @ 4.5ghz, 16gb RAM and 2080ti here. Looking like RT high-ish according to that photo.

I'm sure Hardware Unboxed will do an optimized setting anyway. Eke out a 20+% fps boost for little to no difference in image quality.

My wallet isn't going to thank me for this....

I game at 1440p, and everything until now has been perfectly fine performance-wise. I suspect RTX may take a gigantic dump all over my GPU... but.... I wants the shiny... :(
