D500 Data Cable?

Hi all,

I just got a d500 mobile. But it never came with a data cable. I do however have a Samsaung PCB037DBE - would this cable work? what software do I need?

Also, is it worth updating anything on the phone?

Hmm not sure about that cable but I was recently given a data cable for the D500 but I cant find anywhere to get working drivers, the download packs i've got from Samsung so far dont work ;x
