D900 Users

If its like the D600, you cant see a total, you'll have to count them, and when you send your txt, go one down on the menu, send and save.

its set at just send, annoying.
 
Ahh so annoying.
No way am i counting, Unlimited texts..just wanting to know what i sent each month thats all :)
 
Just got this phone today.

Is there anyway to turn off the keypad tone?

In sound settings (option two) its grayed out and i cannot use it.

Found the answer:

You can access the keypad tone volumes by doing the following:

Open the settings menu
Go to the display settings (no. 3) , and click on no. 6 "dialling display".
In Font Type (no. 1), choose ''normal'' & save.
Go to sound settings (no. 4), and the keypad tone selections (no. 2) are now accessible.
You can turn off the keypad permanently here.(yippee!) A shame the same can''t be said for those annoying incoming messages tones - truly awful.

What a faf on, but so glad the noise has gone.
 
Might seem kind of silly, but on my last phone I was used to texting just by pressing the keys like 3 times for this letter then 2 times for this letter on a diff key etc.

But on the D900 when texting it won't let me do that, it like if you try to get say "s" or something and you press 3 times then it just changes into a word then it will pop up spell check add a word etc, how can I just use it normal?

press *, it should change it to abc format instead of predictive, am guessing thats what you mean.
 
when you send a text click send and save (saves to sent messages). when your are on the menu screen with inbox, draft, outbox etc it should show you how many items are in that folder to the right.

So what does everyone think of the phone?

Its canny.

Bit wide, and the graphics on the menu's are bland compared to my D600.

Haven't taken any pics yet, but the camera is supposed to be class.
 
Only thing I dislike about this phone is the fact you cannot change the tone for messages and that sometimes the camera is not as good as it could be (mainly in darker conditions)

Other than that I love it, its small, easy to use and pretty robust!

Where are my games?

In java its got demo's and not the full games as listed :(

Lemmings, Tetris & Sonic, wish they were full games.

Anyone know of any good places to get games from?
 
My phone came pre-loaded with Cannonball, Forogotten Warrior, Free Kick and Arch Angel as full games and Sonic, Tertris, Asphalt as demos they are all in Java World under Applications :)

I just bought Sonic straight from the phone. But you can get other games from your Network Provider I would guess.

None of those full games are on my phone, just the demos.

Are those games listed next to the demos or in another place?

Sorry for taking so long to get back, yeh under the games bit all the full games where listed at the top and demo's at the bottom. THere wasnt anything seperating demo's/full either
