DAB Receiver

My dad has requested an upgrade to hyis Hi-Fi system to receive DAB radio, he says he has seen a receiver which allows your tuner to pick up DAB, fairly cheaply.

I have no idea what he is talking about, all I can find for DAB are expensive tuners (£100+) or portable ones.

Anyone able to tell me what I am looking for?

I have a small dab reciver from Currys that plugs into my amp/reciver via phono leads. It was about £40 last Jan when I got it
