My Dad cant control a TV remote let alone some sort of PC/Console :p

Exactly the same.

Last year, we got a very expensive home cinema setup installed in the back living room (big screen projector, hi-fi seperates, awesome speakers, etc). Every time he wants to watch a DVD or listen to a music CD, he has to seek my guidance because he can't work the (rather complex) remote.

One of these days somebody will design a "dad friendly" remote.

i built my dad a pc because he asked for one in a sarcy tone, now hes ****** cos he cant find a monitor to hook it up too, hes not having one of mine :D
Thats what he gets for packing away my old stuff without remembering where hes put it! hahah

Never get my dad anything but a card on fathers day :P, not because im a lazy sod but because his birthdays only around a week after :).

:( not that i havent before you don't know how hard it is to get my dad anything lol, last year i got him Sony 5.1 surround sound headphones on fathers day and he didnt like them. He's one of these people who enjoys giving people presents but not vice versa :/. So now i don't bother buying pressies for Fathers Day, instead i wait one week and give it then.

Got to bunches of socks :)

A nice card and a lay in until 10am yesterday lol

From my one year old and the bump we're expecting this week :D
