Dads new car

well luckily i used to be a mechanic so mine dont cost me much to fix,and also i can get cheap alfa parts but its just a pain in the arse and they aint well built cars.mine is an x plate 2.5 v6 and ive had it about 18 months and i had a fiat 20vt for same period and nowhere near as much trouble so im getting another 20vt.i wouldnt have another alfa given tbh :(

That looks so agressive

Does it come in Coupe or Sedan form?

Awesome looking car.

Aren't they complete GM engines in Saabs?

AFAIK only the bottom end of the Alfa JTS came from GM.

No, thats the 3.2 V6 which uses a GM bottom end.

I wasn't aware the JTS was used in any Saab. Its an Alfa/Fiat designed engine and is only used in Fiats and Alfas. I could be wrong though because I don't know Saabs at all.

Unless JTS is a typo and it's infact the JTD? That is used by a few other manurfactuers.

Not that it makes much difference. Gorgeous car ;)

Nice car, however alfa's really annoy me. They have to fit a numberplate in every country. So design you cars to take one. It looks hideous on all there newer cars.

Only the front one and personally I think it looks better off centered ;)

jts is petrol and jtd is diesel ;)
alfa cocked up big style when they swapped their own 3.2 for a gm one as the 3.2 was one of the best sounding engines on the planet.the new 159 3.2 v6 is no faster than my 156 2.5 v6 as the 0-100mph times are exactly the same at 18.6 seconds, due to the 159 weighing 1750kg

Can't make my mind up about the 159, from some angles it looks gorgeous but from others it just doesn't look right. Still, sure it's a cracking car, there's just something about Alfas
