Dark Souls (Demon's Souls 2)

Playing through Demons souls at the minute, have to say one of the most original and challenging games I have ever played. Loving it and as stated it aint hard just ruthless. Having a blast with it.

I have preorder the special edition for Dark souls, great price. Cant wait to get it.

Id advise anyone to get their hands on Demos souls before this one comes out.

Definitely not a game for everyone.
 
I never heard of Demon Souls before a couple of weeks ago when a friend of mine introduced me to it after himself hearing about Dark Souls, found out about the first game, and subsequently bought it himself. We both like Single Player Rpgs (and Single Player games in general) and although I've only played a couple of hours into my copy (which I bought new only a couple of weeks ago - it was very, very hard to find, I managed to get the last one in stock luckily) I've really enjoyed it so far. I went for the Barbarian as I don't use majic often and instead wanted to have a good melee fighter. First order of business is to get rid of that crappy Club and get a decent Sword. It is bloody hard though, but I'm sure once I persevere with it and start levelling up and finding better weapons, armour etc it'll get a little easier. I do have a huge backlog to get through but I will return to Demon Souls in the near future and will definitely buy Dark Souls now too.

- Edit, just preordered the Limited Edition for 37 quid - bargain :-)

Good luck mate, you choose one of the Hardest character in the game to use, the Barbarian!!!

If you find him to hard to use you can choose others that make it slightly easier.

I'm using the Knight, its kind of Middle of the road character. A lot of people choose the Royal as they start off with the soul arrow.

Cant believe you got the special edition for 37, I thought it was great getting it for 39.99 :p.
 
Yeah I wanted to be tough so I thought I'd give the Barbarian a go! I was going to opt for the Theif as I like using stealth but chose otherwise in the end!

Yeah couldn't believe my luck when I saw the Limited Edition for that price, instant purchase for me! Looking forward to getting my a** kicked as the Barbarian, and playing the sequel!

It looks like there is no collision detection with the weapons on the walls.

That was one of the things I loved about the first one, you had to think about the weapons that you used in any given situation.
