What are you tried and tested methods to get rid of them? Ive picked up a really annoying rattle/plastic-on-plastic rubbing noise at the front of the RHS dashboard. Ive heard talk of dealers using some kind of foam spray they put into crevices where the rattle is coming from?

Had an issue on my 225 where the dashboard as rattling on the windscreen, not sure if that's what you mean, but spraying some WD40 on the foam between the windscreen and dashboard sorted it for me.

Out of interest what's a 225?

Ignore it.

Impossible. Once i've heard a rattle, i can't unhear it and it can drive me nuts.

Maybe search the internet for what the rattle could be? Some owner forums have a list of common rattles, what they are, where they are and how to fix.

e92 m3?

I noticed one recently on my e46 coupe, turned out it was the "engine acoustics" cover, which is just a piece of plastic that goes above the rocker which was not re-fitted properly after one of the last services, there are 2 thin prongs that seat into rubber sockets on the rocker cover and one was not aligned right so the back end of the cover was tapping against the dashboard wall (engine goes back into the dash quite a bit).

Re-seated it and there's no more rattle :p

I can't stand rattling interiors, it's the first thing I notice on people's cars I sit in on a journey!

I'll echo Fox's sentiments. The only way to rid yourself of E92 rattles is to buy another car. Buying a GT-R was my obvious solution to fixing an annoying rattle :D

I have an E46 M3 too. Rattles much less! My E92 is for sale and the E46 will be too at some point. I was looking at GTR's the other week but its a bit over my budget and I'm now looking to downgrade as I will very rarely need a car over the next 6 months.
I might try some silicon spray instead of the WD40.
