David Price vs Audley 'The Lionheart' Harrison *Spoilers*

Its looking unlikely that Price is going to fight Fury any time soon

Matt Skelton looks set for his dec fight which is a disappointment.

Boxing allowing the politics to prevent the fights that people would like to see. Fact is if he doesn't fight Furby its always going to hang over him. Better to shut him up now while the fight would still generate the money.
 
Thing is I guess both of them think they can win a world title when the Klitschkos retire, would be a hell of a lot more money in it for both of them if 1 or 2 World titles were on the line when they met so little incentive to take the fight at the moment.

Personally don't think Fury is world level but we'll see.

The Skelton fight is a nothing fight but suppose it's just keeping his eye in until he moves up next year. Really hope he doesn't waste his time going through all the washed up British heavyweights first though (Harrison, Skelton, Williams, Sprott) Chisora maybe worth fighting as he's still a decent benchmark having fought Klitschko and Haye.
 
I think the Skelton fight will be good for him just so he can get a few rounds under his belt. He's not gonna benefit much from fighting guys like Fraudley and taking them out in 1 round. Price vs Fury is just a matter of time I reckon.

True, but who else does Price fight? Skelton is one of our 'top' heavyweights, of which there aren't very many in the first place. Next stop would be to fight some other random unknown eastern European heavyweights, and there's still no interest in that. I suppose all he can do at the moment is just fight guys that people have at least heard of, even if they're rubbish/past it. Bit sad really.
 
There's only 2 domestic heavyweight fights that are worthwhile for Price (Haye is too unrealistic at the moment) Chisora or Fury, Chisora doesn't even have a licence at the moment so can't really fight him and I don't believe Fury really wants the fight no matter how much trash talk he dishes out.
 
they said who he's fighting yet later this year ? i know he's supposed to be on the same card as hatons come back, or was last time anything was mentioned.
