DDR Ram - 16gb??

Hi

I am trying to sort out dads pc (windows 7), i looked on the computers properties.

It is showing as 16gb ram. No idea why?

However, i do know that it has x2 1gb sticks installed.

Any help appreciated

So 2gb of RAM is installed? What's the results if you run a "systeminfo"

Hey mate,

Saying installed ram: 16gb (1.94gb usable) in system info (computers properties)

In advanced performance it's showing a total paging file size of 1983mb (no idea why?)

you are using a 64bit OS right?

have you tryed simply resitting the RAM?

2GB usable is Windows 7 starter edition ..
